December 19. 2008 Last November 09, 2008 we had our Alpha Sunday at Vonzana Resort (40 attendees including the leaders) with the teaching about the Holy Spirit and had the joys and blessings in the baptizing of seven Alpha guests. Two week after we had baptized eight more. So you understand that our Lord Jesus Christ is with us and let us move in ready made deeds. Amen. December 11, 2008, we also had our Christmas party for the "40 Children Program" in Barangay Zone II and the "Alpha Dinner" in Digos City Gymnasium. All together were the 40 children, with their parents, Alpha guest and leaders and special guest approximately 200 people. You will also get to see the new MOA (click here) and report from the first four mounts of the children program. Hopefully the parents of the 40 children which we have invited to Alpha One 2009 will attend and we are very hopeful that the attendance will be doubled this time. We are looking forward for the 2nd Alpha Course to start 14th of January 2009. The "Adopting A school program" with the three elementary schools is finished and because of lack of financial support we cannot continue the program in 2009, but the "40 Children Program in Zone II will continue until end of school in April. The business in Cubex Housing Corp. is also going well and the architect and engineer are ready to start building because we found some Styrofoam wall which suits the house perfectly. We plan to build the houses closer to the city and it looks like now we have a possible area of 1.700 square meters with a house for around 2 million PHP. Pretty cheap or what! : (Ca 300.000 NOK, but for half a year ago it would have only been 200.000 - that how much the value of the NOK has decreased here!)
